About The Position

Maps Credit Union seeks a friendly, collaborative, and great communicating Teller Specialist for its West Salem Branch. This role is ideal for someone passionate about customer service and helping people succeed financially, who also loves their community and wants to make a difference. The Teller Specialist will engage with members professionally and positively, provide excellent customer service while processing account services, enhance member relationships by assessing needs and recommending products/services, and achieve personal and branch monthly goals. Responsibilities also include accurately maintaining and balancing a cash drawer, checks, and money orders within established policy limits, and following regulatory and policy compliance requirements, as well as Credit Union operations and security procedures. New Teller Specialists will receive in-house training from the Learning & Development team and on-the-job training, with additional industry-related classes available. Requirements

  • Highest level of ethical behavior
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience
  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Must be bondable
  • Able to meet Maps' background check and credit reporting standards
