The Teller I is responsible for engaging with members, completing financial transactions, and offering products and services to enhance the member’s financial lives. This role requires adherence to all applicable rules and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, and completion of annual training. The Teller I must perform duties in compliance with Shell FCU policies and standards, providing friendly, professional, and personal service to all members. The position involves working a rotating schedule, including Saturdays, and requires the ability to handle cash and balance a drawer daily, investigating and resolving any out-of-balance conditions immediately. Additionally, the role may involve assisting with cash shipments, training new staff, and addressing member service needs such as changes of address, ATM/debit card issues, and safe deposit box assistance. Cross-selling Credit Union products and services based on member needs is also a key responsibility. The Teller I must understand and comply with procedures related to logs, dual control, vault transactions, and the night drop. Initiative in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and supporting all branch areas is expected, along with meeting personal and branch goals. Assisting the team with daily responsibilities, including opening/closing procedures and balancing various machines and vaults, is also part of the role. The position may require assisting at other branch locations if needed, and performing additional duties as assigned.
