About The Position

The Teller I Part Time assists members and potential members with their Credit Union financial needs in a prompt, friendly, and efficient manner, both in person and on the phone, following current service model standards. The Teller I Part Time refers members to appropriate Credit Union personnel for services outside the scope of given responsibility.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year cash handling experience or six months or more customer service experience Required
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including business writing ability
Excellent time management and organizational skills and ust be accustomed to working with deadlines
Must possess mathematical ability to perform very basic math skills
Strong customer service orientation
Must be detail oriented
Bilingual Spanish-speaking
Hearing - Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound
Repetitive Motions - Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Lifting - Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
Talking - Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word, those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly
Visual Abilities - Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery
