The Teller I works in a TD Store location and plays a key role in delivering legendary customer experiences while processing everyday banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency. This role also involves educating customers on TD's products and services or referring them to a partner for specialized solutions. The Teller I is expected to execute TD's Brand promise, perform various customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, and process cash transactions with high accuracy. They will respond to customer inquiries, engage in lobby leadership, educate customers on self-service/digital options, conduct needs-based conversations, and make sound decisions. The position requires ensuring compliance with regulations like the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act, verifying customer identities, balancing cash drawers, ATMs, and TCDs/TCRs, adhering to safe deposit box procedures, and securing confidential customer information. The Teller I is also responsible for following dual control, security, and audit measures to minimize loss and prevent fraud, and completing all required training.
