About The Position
The TV Master Control Operator is responsible for monitoring the quality and accuracy of our on-air product, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and preparing programming for future playback. This position will work 1-2 days a week, mostly weekends, including overnights; 12am-8am, day shift; 8am - 4pm, and/or evening shift; 4pm - 12am.
Requirements
- Strong computer knowledge.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Reliable with good communication skills.
- Strong work history.
- Shifts could include overnight, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Should be flexible.
Nice To Haves
- Previous master control experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and troubleshooting automation playlists for up to seven television & two radio stations.
- Maintain relationships with clients.
- Switching live news and sports programming.
- Maintaining transmitter logs.
- Other duties as needed.
