We are seeking a Telephonic Nurse Case Manager with a required Compact RN license to work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Mountain or Pacific Time. Preferred qualifications include a CCM certification and additional active RN licensure in CA, NY, NV, and/or OR. The Telephonic Case Manager provides remote medical case management services to injured individuals, many of whom were industrially injured. A Telephonic Case Manager assists consumers in their recovery so that they may return to the highest level of function as possible. Medical services are coordinated and assessed frequently, vocational options are explored with the injured worker and their employers, and pre-injury employment or alternate employment is secured. The Telephonic Case Manager works with all parties to the claim including: the injured person, the claim’s examiner, employer, attorneys (plaintiff and defense) and medical providers.

Requirements

  • Unrestricted compact RN required
  • Professional licenses or certifications required to meet qualifications for this position must be current, unrestricted and allow for practice within a state or territory of the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional RN license from CA, NY, NV, and/or OR preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred
  • CCM preferred (required within 2 years of hire)
  • Other state endorsements/certifications: WCCM, TN Registry, NCIC, GA Rehab Suppliers
  • Worker’s compensation case management experience preferred
  • ICU/ER experience experience will be considered
  • Case Managers may also need regional or national certifications and must adhere to the standards of practice outlined by the specific national certifying body or the jurisdictionally accepted standards of practice.
