Remote Telephone Survey Interviewer
About The Position
Nichols Research is seeking Work-From-Home Telephone Interviewers to conduct market research surveys. As a Telephone Interviewer, you will conduct computer-based surveys, ask respondents their opinions on a variety of topics, and accurately record their responses. This role is ideal for outgoing, professional, and articulate individuals who can work independently in a remote environment. The surveys cover a range of topics including current events, healthcare, customer satisfaction, politics, media usage, and consumer products. Please note that applicants must currently reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. This position does not involve sales, collections, fundraising, or telemarketing, and compensation is not commission-based.
Requirements
- Excellent reading, listening, and verbal communication skills
- Strong dependability and professionalism
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- A quiet home workspace free from distractions
- A desktop or laptop computer
- A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.)
- Reliable high-speed internet with a minimum upload speed of 10 Mbps
- A personal mobile phone
- A webcam, microphone, and speakers/headset

Responsibilities
- Place outbound calls using VOIP telephone software
- Explain the purpose of the survey and answer respondent questions
- Read computer-based survey questions clearly and verbatim
- Accurately record survey responses
- Clarify vague or incomplete responses when appropriate
- Follow all survey and data collection procedures
