About The Position
The Telephone Operator is responsible for answering and directing all incoming calls from the public and staff for the Trinity Health System and its facilities. This role also involves responding to alarms and codes, collecting and distributing on-call information, and performing other duties as needed for the Telecom Department.
Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalency (required)
- One (1) year of hospital operator experience (required)
Responsibilities
- Answers and directs all incoming calls from the public and staff for the Trinity Health System and its facilities.
- Answers and responds to all Fire alarms, security alarms, STATS, and codes in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Collects, provides and distributes the on-call information for (Trinity Health System) and its facilities.
- Performs all other duties deemed necessary for accurate and proper performance of the Telecom Department.
