About The Position

Auro Hotels is seeking a Full-Time Telephone Operator for the PM shift (3pm-11pm). This role requires the ability to manage stressful situations and work long, varied hours as business conditions demand. The Telephone Operator will be responsible for answering inquiries, offering suggestions, and providing descriptions pertaining to the property. They will also verify arrival and departure times, service times, and arrange for other services requested by guests. Maintaining a professional commitment to ethics, standards, and hotel directives is crucial. The role involves providing routes and time schedules, requiring fluent use of the Internet for obtaining information and having maps available. A key aspect of this position is providing positive service to all guests, demonstrating courtesy, sincerity, and enthusiasm, and carrying out guest requests using proper detailed procedures. All duties must be performed in a safe manner, and the operator must monitor the actions of others. Attendance at scheduled meetings is required, along with the ability to organize oneself, one's work, and the efforts of others, while being attentive to detail.
