About The Position

Telephone Operators answer and direct all incoming outside and in-house calls. They provide approved patient information upon request, page physicians and on-call services, maintain on-call schedules in the hospital paging system, and alert hospital staff to medical emergencies according to hospital procedures. They also direct patients and visitors to locations throughout the hospital using the hospital link system and provide pager support services for hospital staff.

Responsibilities
