About The Position

This role involves monitoring and interpreting continuous cardiac rhythms across telemetry devices, ensuring constant vigilance over patient heart patterns to catch subtle changes early. The technician will communicate critical changes and irregular heartbeats immediately to nurses and attending physicians, serving as the vital link that enables swift, life-saving clinical interventions. Additionally, the role requires accurate and thorough documentation of patient cardiac journeys, providing the care team with reliable, high-quality records of rhythm transitions and trends. The technician will also manage telemetry equipment and supply inventories diligently to ensure life-monitoring devices are always fully operational, calibrated, and ready for patient use.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
