About The Position
This role involves continuous cardiac surveillance, monitoring real-time telemetry devices to track, detect, and interpret complex cardiac patterns and heartbeat variations. The technician will document irregular rhythms and immediately escalate significant cardiac changes to nurses and attending physicians for prompt medical intervention. Additionally, the role includes asset and inventory management, ensuring 100% operational readiness by testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining telemetry monitoring equipment and vital supply inventory.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of healthcare or customer service preferred
- Hospital experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of cardiac rhythms preferred
