About The Position

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients. The Telemetry Technician provides continual observation and documentation of situation by documenting rhythms during a code situation and notifying physicians and staff. Perform skilled clerical and receptionist duties. Methodist Charlton Medical Center is a 314-bed, full-service, acute care teaching hospital that serves Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, and Lancaster in southwestern Dallas County. In addition to the new 40,000-square-foot expansion of the emergency department, we offer a newly renovated intensive care unit, labor and delivery unit, and interventional radiology suite; a Level III Trauma Center, a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and the Dr. Stephen and Marilyn Mansfield Oncology Unit. Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
  • Complete a basic dysrhythmia course with an acceptable score during orientation
  • Complete an annual recertification course in basic dysrhythmia with an acceptable score

Nice To Haves

  • At least six months work experience preferred
