About The Position
Trinity Health Oakland is seeking a part-time Telemetry Technician for their Day Shift. This role is crucial for patient care, involving direct support to nursing staff and ensuring accurate cardiac monitoring. The technician will monitor cardiac rhythms, provide leadership in telemetry activities, collaborate with nursing leadership on arrhythmia management and cardiology testing, and participate in multidisciplinary teams to establish clinical standards of care. The position also emphasizes promoting exceptional customer service and organizational values.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
- Completion of a Cardiac Monitoring program OR Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) through CCI OR 2 years of related experience in lieu of certification.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- State of Michigan Paramedic license.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and telemetry for patients.
