The 7HLT - Observation Unit is a 21-bed unit with an additional 10 observation beds, providing care for patients with cardiac, medical, and surgical diagnoses. Nurses on this unit monitor and intervene for patients with conditions such as low-risk cardiac issues, general surgical, medical, orthopedic, low-risk neurosurgical, and low-risk congestive heart failure. The role involves providing quality, timely, and efficient care to short-stay patients in a fast-paced learning environment, fostering professional development and interdepartmental collaboration.
