The Monitoring Tech observes patients on the cardiac systems, communicates data to the appropriate personnel, and maintains the integrity of the system. Requirements

• High School Diploma – or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Observes patients on the cardiac systems.
• Communicates data to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintains integrity of the system.
• Perform the duties of a MT in accordance with WMH policies and procedures, and any department specific policies and procedures.
• Communicates accurate and efficient patient information in a timely manner, keeping patient safety the first priority.
• Gathers and completes all documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborates with other team members (RN, CNA, UCC, MT, and unit leadership) to ensure patient needs are being met.
