About The Position

CareTalk Health is a fully remote, nationwide virtual medical practice that partners with Medicare Advantage plans to deliver Annual Wellness Visits and close care gaps. They believe virtual care is care delivered the way patients want it, and their mission is to make that experience simple, reliable, and human. They are seeking Board-Certified Physicians (MD/DO) and experienced Nurse Practitioners licensed in multiple states to provide virtual care as independent contractors (1099). This role offers the flexibility of working remotely for those passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Board Certified (for Physicians MD/DO)
• Active, unrestricted medical licenses in multiple states (for Physicians MD/DO)
• Medicare participating physician (or willing to become one) (for Physicians MD/DO)
• Active, unrestricted NP license (multi-state licensure strongly preferred) (for Nurse Practitioners)
• Experience providing preventative and/or primary care (for Nurse Practitioners)
• Experience using EHR systems and telehealth platforms
• Comfort conducting both phone and video consultations
• Strong digital fluency and ability to navigate multiple systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Availability aligned with virtual clinic scheduling needs
• Must become CMS credentialed within our practice (if applicable)
• Perform all work physically within the United States. International work is not permitted during scheduled work hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Annual Wellness Visits and E/M virtual visits
• Perform new patient evaluations and follow-up consultations
• Manage chronic conditions and support remote monitoring
• Assess patient conditions and review medications
• Provide comprehensive consultations and evidence-based care recommendations
• Build strong patient rapport through effective communication
• Accurately document medical records in the EHR system
• Maintain compliance with telehealth and CMS requirements
• Participate in remote training sessions and workflow updates
