About The Position

Promotes the company mission statement by participating in the safe and efficient operation of a telehandler while adhering to safety guidelines and completing required paperwork accurately and on time. This position is required to work in a variety of conditions relative to construction jobsite environments and must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, as assigned. Exposure to weather conditions, heat, cold, etc. is expected.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year telehandler or similar heavy equipment experience.
  • Experience working in construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environments.
  • Valid telehandler operator certification or license (if required by local regulations).
  • Strong understanding of telehandler operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity with basic mechanical principles and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of rigging and hoisting techniques.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must pass drug screen.
  • Must be able to record daily work log.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Valid US driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Willing to become certified in First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a telehandler to lift, move, and position materials and equipment according to project specifications.
  • Perform daily inspections of the telehandler to ensure it is in proper working condition, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and other vehicles, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of loads.
  • Transport materials and equipment to designated locations on the job site, following all safety protocols and traffic regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate material handling activities and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the telehandler and surrounding environment.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including always wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Record daily inspections and perform operator-level maintenance on the equipment.
  • Travel to/from multiple jobsites, projects, and offices.
