About The Position
The Telecommunications Technician is responsible for completing daily repairs, installations and orders for system-wide telecommunications services. The Technician is also responsible for maintaining all telephone hardware and seeing that repairs are completed in a timely manner, with patient needs always being top priority.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Excellent telephone and reception manners
- Good memory
- Good judgment
- Public Relations ability
- Managerial/supervisory skills
- Clerical perception and accuracy
- Scheduling
- Instructional skills
- Mathematical skills
- Able to direct most phases of a telecommunications installation
Nice To Haves
- Associates degree in Telecommunications, Engineering or related field preferred
- Preference for meeting and serving customers
