About The Position

AQUA Dermatology is Florida's largest and most comprehensive full-service skin care provider in the Southeast, offering medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, vein care and radiation oncology. Due to significant growth in telecommunications support demands and AI telecom initiatives across our organization, we are seeking an additional Telecommunications Technician to join our team. This role is essential to maintain operational continuity, improve response times, and ensure our critical patient-facing communication systems remain reliable and scalable across our 110+ locations and 2,000+ phone network. The Telecommunications Technician reports to the Director of Telecommunications and provides hardware and software maintenance in an effective and efficient manner to ensure maximum access to and implementation of technology services and resources.

Requirements

  • Must have proficient knowledge in computer hardware and software systems and programs, troubleshooting, virus and security, E-mail, and internet programs
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
  • Knowledge of computer security systems, applications procedures, and techniques
  • Ability to identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operational problems
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
  • Ability to learn and support new systems and applications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 11, Office365, DNS, and DHCP

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of software systems and experience in field telecommunications installations and maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Daily change order requests, including phone moves, extensions, call routing changes, user updates, equipment replacements, and troubleshooting requests
  • Coordinating resolution with telecommunication providers during service disruption issues at all AQUA locations
  • Supporting AI telecommunications initiatives across RCM Call Center, Florida Call Center, and office patient call centers
  • Identifying internet circuit upgrade changes across 110+ locations
  • Maintenance of battery backup components
  • Refresh and support of security camera systems
  • Ongoing upgrades to office video and music systems
  • Assisting Director of Telecommunications with outfitting new AQUA locations (10-15 annually)
  • Travelling to regional office locations to install battery backups, network wifi equipment and video cameras
  • Circuit management, vendor coordination, and outage response support
