This role requires an experienced Enterprise voice and unified communications technician or analyst. Responsibilities include managing moves, adds, changes, and user provisioning across multiple UC platforms. The technician will also be responsible for phone number inventory and lifecycle management, ticket queue ownership and incident response, telecom expense management and carrier coordination, and E911 administration and records management. Additionally, the role involves providing user training and adoption support, with an emphasis on the ability to learn new technologies, specifically Microsoft Teams Voice. Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, reports, and correspondence, as well as effectively exchange information, explain, gather information, answer queries, and persuade or recommend courses of action with internal and external contacts. The ability to document training materials for end-users is also important. Decision-making in this role involves evaluating information and may require developing or applying alternative precedents. Decisions can affect multiple departments or units, requiring substantial analysis and weighing of factors. The technician must understand and follow instructions, execute decisions within policy limits, and interpret/adapt established practices using independent judgment for situations not clearly defined.
