About The Position

This position is in the Division of Technology and Innovation, Bureau of Education Data Center reporting to the Access Management Manager. The Florida Department of Education (FDOE) has an open position that is responsible for executing the following functions: Employee is expected to demonstrate, model, and reinforce the agency’s fundamental values of quality, fairness, cooperation, respect, commitment, excellence, honesty, and teamwork. Requirements

  • 1-2 years of direct work experience in an IT related field.
  • Hybrid Active Directory environment (ADUC, AzureAD, Entra) knowledge required.
  • Exchange Management knowledge required.
  • Experience utilizing PowerShell required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Active Directory, Exchange Management, Office 365, TEAMS, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with supervisors and fellow coworkers. The information can be exchanged face-to face, in writing or via telephone/electronic transfer.
  • Ability to evaluate and reason with information and data to make decisions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, scheduling, and implementation of work assignments pertaining to access management, ensuring there is documented history for ID creation and deletion, folders and drive mappings.
  • Collects, evaluates, and analyzes data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document workflow and other activities related to the bureau’s IT service management system.
  • Planning, scheduling, and implementation of work assignments pertaining to data searches (e.g., e-mail) relating to legal discovery or public record requests from the public or press.
  • Provides on-site and technical assistance to clients through diagnosis of problems and implementation of changes to resolve problems.
  • Researches, evaluates and tests new technology in accordance with Agency goals.
