About The Position
We are seeking a Telecommunications Payload System Engineer to support the development, integration, and testing of satellite communication systems. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in space systems, satellite communications, or related telecommunications disciplines who are looking to contribute to innovative aerospace projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in space systems, satellite communications, or a related discipline.
- Foundational knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP), RF systems, and telecommunications architectures.
- Experience testing satellite subsystems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working within aerospace, defense, or satellite communications environments.
- Familiarity with satellite payloads, communication links, or ground segment systems.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, integration, and testing of satellite communication systems and subsystems.
- Participate in the verification and validation of satellite hardware and communication architectures.
- Assist with digital signal processing (DSP) and RF system analysis.
- Contribute to technical documentation, test reports, and engineering reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Support troubleshooting and performance analysis of satellite communication systems.
