Efficiently operate complex computer programs and networking functions, telephone equipment, radios, recording devices, E9-1-1 system, weather systems and other technical equipment.

Must pass a thorough criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Respond to all incoming emergency and non-emergency calls through telephone and the E9-1-1 system.
Answer forwarded lines from Public Utilities and Public Works after hours.
Address citizens' requests and coordinate with necessary crews to provide timely assistance.
Maintain constant radio communication with emergency service personnel.
Maintain police reports and document major offenses and property thefts.
Conduct specialized data entry into secured computerized frameworks.
