About The Position

Kaimetrix is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer – Level II to support the design, testing, upgrade, and integration of telecommunication networks, systems, and equipment in a secure, mission-critical environment. This role contributes to telecommunications engineering efforts by implementing solutions, maintaining documentation, and ensuring systems meet operational and security requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in telecommunications engineering or related IT infrastructure roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• CompTIA Security+
• CCNA
• Active Tier 3 (T3) background investigation or ability to obtain and maintain

Responsibilities

• Design, test, upgrade, and integrate new or existing telecommunication networks in accordance with business requirements
• Document all aspects of the engineering process including build, configuration, testing, and deployment activities
• Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard telecommunication networks and systems
• Coordinate with architecture teams to evaluate new telecommunication technologies and provide recommendations
• Troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate vendor support when necessary to resolve system challenges
• Support the implementation and maintenance of reliable and secure telecommunications infrastructure
• Ensure systems meet operational requirements and align with organizational security standards
