Requirements
- 3+ years of related experience
- Telecommunications and 911 systems / platforms.
- Communication and problem solving.
- After hours call out - support.
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Telecommunications / IT related field desirable.
- 911 Voice and Video technologies.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes, maintains, and modifies telecommunications systems supporting 911 (Inform Platform) operations and sustainment to meet operational standards.
- Monitors the operations of 911 systems and services of vendors.
- Conducts studies regarding 911 systems usage and recommends changes as appropriate.
- Plans, coordinates and performs all moves and installation of 911 equipment.
- Tests, adjusts, and troubleshoots complex hardware equipment as necessary.
- Maintains records and prepares complex reports relevant to the operation of the 911 system.
- Provides end-user training of 911 features and functionality.
