Robinson Brothers Construction, LLC is hiring Telecommunication Construction Laborers to join our crews on a variety of underground and aerial utility projects — with opportunities to travel across our western state contracts. Requirements

  • Valid driver's license, clean record (2 or fewer tickets in the last 5 years)
  • Must meet federal DOT requirements to legally operate a vehicle across state lines, as this role involves interstate travel
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and MVR check
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions — rain, heat, snow, wind
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs regularly and handle a full day of standing, climbing, kneeling, and crawling
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Prior construction or telecom experience
  • Class A CDL (comes with a higher wage scale)
  • Willingness to travel to job sites across the region

Responsibilities

  • Support every phase of telecom construction, from breaking ground to final testing
  • Hand dig using shovels and mechanical tools
  • Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling
  • Place poles, anchors, guys, aerial strand and cable
  • Work with directional and conventional boring, trenching, and conduit systems
  • Operate around heavy equipment and assist skilled operators
  • Perform inside wiring, cabling, testing, and maintenance
  • Keep job sites safe, organized, and ready to move
  • Work in congested or remote areas
  • Maintain visual and audible contact with other crewmen and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement
  • Learn all aspects of crew and assist the operator and foreman as assigned
