About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Estimator to join our team and support the successful planning and delivery of complex construction projects, with a strong emphasis on Network Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating with project teams to develop competitive and accurate bids. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial construction practices, Network Infrastructure (ISP/OSP), cost analysis, and technical construction documentation. Candidates with a background in Construction Management are strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of construction estimating experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience estimating or supporting Network Infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Experience performing quantity takeoffs and developing detailed cost analyses.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates and competing deadlines simultaneously.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Educational background in Construction Management strongly preferred.
  • Experience with mission-critical facilities, data centers, hyperscale campuses, or high-tech construction projects.
  • Familiarity with preconstruction services, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor management.
  • Experience with estimating platforms such as Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff, CostX, Planswift, or similar tools.
  • Experience working with general contractors, EPC firms, or owners' representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed conceptual, schematic, design development, and final construction cost estimates.
  • Review and analyze drawings, specifications, contracts, and other project documentation to develop accurate budgets and bid proposals.
  • Quantify materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs for construction projects.
  • Develop and maintain cost databases, unit pricing, and historical cost information.
  • Identify potential project risks and cost-saving opportunities during the estimating process.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, owners, and construction teams throughout the preconstruction phase.
  • Monitor market conditions, labor trends, material pricing, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in client meetings and project planning sessions as required.
