About The Position

As a full-turnkey telecom contractor, RLM has expanded its capabilities and reach, serving Telco providers with a focus on agility, reliability, and local expertise. This position is for an experienced Telecom Construction Manager to oversee construction projects in Kalama, WA, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The role demands hands-on leadership and deep expertise in underground telecommunications, construction operations, and crew management.

Requirements

Residing in WA is highly preferred
5–10+ years of underground telecom construction experience is required
Strong leadership and risk management skills
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Commitment to following administrative policies and procedures

Nice To Haves

Experience in aerial construction is helpful, but not required

Responsibilities

Manage construction sites to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with project specifications
Lead and direct ground crews on daily operations
Maintain strong relationships with customers and homeowners, professionally addressing complaints and restoration concerns
Ensure all work aligns with approved plans, procedures, and timelines
Prepare redline drawings and daily progress reports
Oversee job site procurement (e.g., straw, seed, tools, batteries, tarps, paint)
Monitor and update project schedules
Conduct daily inspections of company vehicles, equipment, and job site conditions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites, equipment, and vehicles
Daily production reporting via PM tool
Must be at the job site while crews are drilling
