About The Position

The Teen Coordinator at the Parkview Family YMCA assists with the development, management, and delivery of high-quality programs for teens. The role supports safe and consistent programming, tracks participation and outcomes, and assists with marketing and participant communication. The position is part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, with varying hours. Programming may require evening work and occasional Saturdays.

Requirements

• Commitment to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be cleared to drive a bus.
• Excellent communication, supervisory, and organizational skills.
• Excellent human relations skills and enthusiasm.
• Basic math skills and demonstrated recordkeeping proficiency.
• Strong organization and flexibility, with the ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
• Ability to relate to, welcome, and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute program rules, guidelines, and handbooks to support safe and consistent program delivery.
• Track participation and outcomes to help assess program effectiveness and support continuous improvement.
• Assist with marketing and participant communication, and respond to questions or concerns.
• Assist with the development, management, and delivery of high-quality programs.
