The Booker T. Washington Community Service Center (BTWCSC) seeks a highly reliable, collaborative, and results-driven Teen Coordinator to support our dynamic, multi-service organization as we expand and strengthen our teen programming. This position is part of our K–TAY Youth (Kindergarten to Transitional Aged Youth) Department and reports directly to the Youth Programs Manager. The Teen Coordinator will be responsible for providing programmatic, operational, and administrative support for all teen program activities. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of an expanding teen program, creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for high school youth in San Francisco’s Fillmore and Western Addition neighborhoods. The Teen Coordinator will design and implement programs that center the experiences of youth of color, with a focus on supporting teens’ academic success, leadership development, and overall well-being. The role ensures the effective delivery of a broad range of activities across BTWCSC’s core program areas: Education and Career Development, Character and Leadership Development, Health and Life Skills, Wellness and Social-Emotional Health, The Arts, Sports, Fitness, and Recreation, Social Justice and Community Engagement. The Teen Coordinator also plays a key role in operational effectiveness and program success by collaborating with colleagues across BTWCSC to support events, field trips, enrichment partnerships, and intergenerational activities. As part of the K–TAY team, the Coordinator contributes to program quality, family engagement, and data reporting, ensuring that programming meets grant requirements and reflects BTWCSC’s mission of being a beacon of Black joy, self-determination, and community connection.
