About The Position
Richland Library is seeking to hire a Part-Time Children's Room Intern at our Main location. This internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in a vibrant, contemporary library setting. The intern will assist with various tasks related to the Teen Center, including program support, material handling, and space maintenance. The Richland Library is an award-winning, forward-thinking public library system committed to serving the community by helping customers learn, create, and share.
Requirements
- Rising high school senior or above
Responsibilities
- Sort and shelve returned materials
- Find and retrieve materials on hold for customers
- Check-out and Check-in materials
- Assist with the preparation of maker and gaming materials
- Assist with the set-up, delivery, and clean-up of teen programs
- Assist with the maintenance of the space in the Teen Center
