About The Position

Independence Mission Schools (IMS) is seeking a full-time Technology Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at St. Helena-Incarnation school. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of evidence-based, age-appropriate curriculum and instructional strategies, a passion for innovative practices, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. This role requires adapting activities to meet diverse student needs and modeling outstanding character for moral formation. The teacher will set high expectations, implement effective classroom management, and foster a positive learning environment. Engaging lessons tailored to various skill levels, data-informed instruction, and communication with parents are key responsibilities. The successful candidate will also be a committed lifelong learner, actively applying skills gained through coaching and professional development.

Requirements

High School Degree (required)
Clearances on all required background checks (required)
Content aptitude and a passion for education.
A track record of leading students to successfully achieve academic and behavioral expectations.

Nice To Haves
