About The Position

Wiley|Wilson is seeking a Technology Systems Project Designer to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This role involves designing telecommunications networks, structured cabling systems, audio/visual systems, and electronic security systems for various vertical building projects. Requirements

3-7 years of experience designing telecommunications networks, structured cabling systems, audio/visual systems, and electronic security systems for vertical building projects.
Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is required.
Proficient in Autodesk Revit, including model setup, linking, navigation, and producing Technology Systems designs from project initiation through completion.
Strong time management and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Proficient with MS Office suite of products
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a positive, proactive approach to problem solving and professional development.
Must work effectively with Technology Systems team members, other design disciplines, subconsultants, and clients.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

An Associate's degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with federal government projects.
BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification or a desire to obtain the certification as part of professional development.
AVIXA CTS certification or a desire to obtain the certification as part of professional development.

Responsibilities

Design telecommunications networks, structured cabling systems, audio/visual systems, and electronic security systems for a variety of projects.
Develop and coordinate Revit models and construction documents.
Collaborate with senior Technology Systems staff to deliver quality designs and develop technical expertise.
Attend client and project meetings to coordinate items related to project scope and design. Approximate travel requirement 10%-15%.
Coordinate Technology Systems designs with other engineering and architectural disciplines.
Ensure work is completed in accordance with project quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
