About The Position

NEXT Electric, LLC is seeking a full-time Technology Superintendent in Madison, Wisconsin. This position supervises and coordinates work at jobsites, plans labor/material requirements, and analyzes blueprints for jobsite knowledge and planning. The role involves visiting multiple jobsites, interacting with crews, customers, leaders, and general contractors to ensure jobs are running as expected. The Technology Superintendent will maintain an accurate installation plan using a document management system and change logs, ensuring projects are completed on time and within quality standards. They will enforce company and customer safety policies and procedures, conduct jobsite safety inspections, complete daily jobsite safety forms, and lead jobsite toolbox talks. Additionally, the role requires understanding customer expectations, serving as the main customer contact for inquiries or concerns, and attending site and project meetings as required. Responsibilities include facilitating the installation of pathways/cabling, installation/termination of peripheral devices, ensuring programming and testing of Systems are completed per specifications, and facilitating Systems Training for customers. The position also provides quality customer support services.

Requirements

  • 15 years recent low voltage installation experience with 5 years supervisory experience
  • BICSI Installer or Technician Certification required
  • Proficient communications and Personal Computer/MS Office Suite (EXCEL, WORD) skills
  • Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check and MVR check, and drug-test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.
