About The Position

The Office of Technology is seeking a Technology Summer Intern to support the technology needs of the Pottsgrove School District for students and staff. This role involves preparing and distributing technology, managing inventory, and assisting with device maintenance.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a four-year college or university, or Pottsgrove School District in grade 11 or 12.
• Available 4 days per week, for 7-hours per day.
• Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with the supervisor, fellow workers, staff and students.
• Ability to follow simple verbal and written instruction as relates to the job.
• Lift up to 40 pounds.
• Current Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114 clearances.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Chromebooks for distribution.
• Assist technology staff in distributing technology to personnel and classrooms.
• Record inventory of devices throughout the district.
• Prepare Chromebook parts.
• Prepare old devices for resale.
• Maintain content files and records.
• Be courteous and deal effectively with staff, students, and the public.
