As a Technology Regulatory Consultant, the successful candidate will combine technical expertise with business acumen to deliver high-quality advisory and assurance services.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Security, or a related discipline.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in technology advisory or assurance, internal audit, or risk consulting.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to technology audits, internal controls, and compliance testing is considered an asset.
  • Candidates holding (or working towards) any of the following certifications will be considered favourably: CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional
  • Candidates holding (or working towards) any of the following certifications will be considered favourably: CISA – Certified Information Systems Auditor
  • Candidates holding (or working towards) any of the following certifications will be considered favourably: CRISC – Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control
  • Candidates holding (or working towards) any of the following certifications will be considered favourably: ISO 27001 Lead Auditor – Information Security Management Systems
  • Candidates holding (or working towards) any of the following certifications will be considered favourably: CIPP/E – Certified Information Privacy Professional
  • A strong interest in technology and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and supporting technology assurance engagements, including external audits, GDPR/privacy audits, IT internal audits, and ISAE 3402 reports.
  • Evaluating clients’ data lifecycle, security, and privacy practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Managing client relationships and delivering projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Contributing to business development activities and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and evolving regulatory landscapes.
  • Supporting internal quality assurance and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
