About The Position
SAIC is seeking a talented Security Principal to support NSWC Crane Joint Hypersonics Transition Office (JHTO). This candidate will be responsible for implementing and enforcing adherence to best practices to protect critical technical information generated by office science and technology efforts. The individual will be the organizational lead for all security-related issues but primarily technology and information protection.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the organizational lead for all technology protection matters, guiding and influencing security practices across the office.
- Oversee and manage complex review and approval processes, such as those for export control requests and access to sensitive data.
- Investigate alleged security violations and privacy breaches, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Function as a subject matter expert, providing clear guidance and training on security, export control, and CI best practices to a varied audience.
