About The Position

The Technology Product Management Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within their field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in their job and the business. This role is recognized as a technical authority for an area within the business and requires basic commercial awareness. Typically, multiple individuals within the business provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, particularly colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. This role has a significant impact on the area through complex deliverables and provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. The work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in product line management, e-commerce, and/or strategic planning role, business analysis or system analysis.
  • Significant experience building complex business and/or transactional models.
  • Demonstrated experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, effectively influencing across cross functional teams.
  • Shown strong ability to apply project management skills including project estimation and risk mitigation
  • Knowledge of business process modeling techniques, requirements gathering, and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, or other BPM tools)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experienced in managing and implementing successful projects

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced in using AI productivity tools is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Retail Banking, especially on branch applications is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Leads the working backwards documents for a platform product release
  • Uses or commissions research, studies and focus groups to identify best-of-breed benchmarks for solving business problems
  • Identifies innovations and leads “test and learn” experiments to create platform products that increase customer value
  • Defines and measures the KPIs for a platform product
  • Is able to make trade-off decisions on multiple platform products in a portfolio
  • Develops business and platform requirements for either one platform component of a large platform product or a narrow product
  • Leverages tools such as Ignite for reusability of APIs and platform services
  • Determines release goals for a narrow platform product or a component of a large product
  • Identifies best practices for continuous product development improvement
  • Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
