About The Position
The Technology & Product Development Manager is responsible for ensuring the technical accuracy, safety, and performance of prefabricated electrical solutions used in mission-critical and data center environments. This role serves as the internal technical authority, validating product configurations, supporting project requirements, and driving the development of standardized, scalable product solutions.
Requirements
- Strong technical experience with electrical systems in data center or mission-critical environments
- Proven ability to interpret requirements, validate configurations, and ensure safe application of products
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and operations or manufacturing teams
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of documentation discipline
Nice To Haves
- Experience with prefabricated electrical assemblies or manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with mission-critical environments, including strict documentation and quality expectations
- Experience developing standardized products, configuration rules, or scalable technical frameworks
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical expert to ensure all products and configurations are accurate, safe, and aligned with customer requirements
- Review customer specifications and RFQs to validate proper application and identify risks or gaps early
- Establish and maintain product standards, including configuration rules, documentation, and quality expectations
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and operations to ensure technical and commercial alignment
- Evaluate supplier quotes for completeness and accuracy, including all required components and options
- Manage technical deviations, substitutions, and exceptions to ensure performance and reliability are not compromised
- Oversee submittal package quality to reduce resubmittals and support project timelines
- Monitor industry trends and translate insights into new product development opportunities
- Support innovation efforts from concept through standardization and launch
- Train internal teams on product standards and technical requirements
