About The Position

As our Technology Operations Specialist, you are a hands-on leader influencing decision-making and driving innovation. You support every employee in the organization with their technical needs while maintaining the backbone of our IT infrastructure. You aren't just "fixing computers"; you are a strategic partner working cross-functionally to ensure our nationwide operations run with absolute reliability.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Documented background in advanced technical support and enterprise network administration.
  • Technical Prowess: Proficiency in VMware, Tanium (or similar asset management), and NMS tools.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and align IT solutions with departmental goals.
  • Dedication: Availability for after-office hours contact (nights/weekends) to support the mission-critical needs of our team.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-starter who influences decision-making and drives operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • High-Level Support: Provide advanced technical support for all staff, both hands-on and remote.
  • System Maintenance: Troubleshoot company server environments, security protocols, ISPs, and cloud-based phone systems.
  • Asset Management: Configure and maintain Asset Manager for computer imaging, software management, and patching.
  • Mobility: Travel as needed to assist with remote office installations and relocations.
  • Network Leadership: Act as the lead for projects involving the onboarding of new offices and clients.
  • Monitoring & Security: Configure Network Management Systems (NMS) for proactive monitoring and use configuration tools for switches, firewalls, and AP controllers.
  • Virtualization: Manage and troubleshoot virtualized servers using VMware.
  • Vendor Relations: Work directly with vendors on cabling projects and create RFPs for network additions.
  • Strategic Integration: Work closely with Network, Security, and Systems teams to ensure seamless performance.
  • Education: Complete ALC system training and stay current with industry best practices.
