About The Position

SoftPro is seeking a Technology Operations Analyst to join their Technology Operations team. This position can be based from their Raleigh, NC office as hybrid, or as a remote employee. The primary responsibility is ensuring that SoftPro's invoicing, product catalog, and customer data is controlled, accurate, and available for efficient use by application users and business processes. The role involves collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders to interpret requests, challenge design and efficiency, and implement effective use of company data. The role is Full Time, Monday-Friday, with negotiable working hours. If not located near the Raleigh office, travel for team collaboration/training will be required a few times a year.

Requirements

  • Be an analytical problem solver and possess a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Possess a strong understanding of how multiple applications work together and how to maintain data synchronization across multiple systems.
  • At least 2 years’ experience with common data management and reporting concepts and be willing to demonstrate continuous learning in applications and tools (to include SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, Dynamics 365 CRM and Dataverse and 3rd party applications) relevant to the Technology Operations team mission.
  • Leverage Generative AI tools to accelerate data analysis and delivery of work products.
  • 2 years’ experience in roles involving basic Financial Accounting principles (balanced ledgers or transactions, sales tax or revenue data recording, sales catalog).
  • 2 years’ experience working with product and services invoicing data that includes usage-based and license-based billing.
  • Maintain a security-first mindset in all development and data management activities.
  • Practice a customer-first attitude and be receptive to change.
  • Demonstrate urgency in your work, dedication to teammates and readiness to contribute to a fluid and fast-paced environment.
  • Have experience collaborating with developers and product owners on an Agile or Scrum development team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure SoftPro’s MS Dynamics 365 product catalog and invoicing data is accurate and available to enable license-based and transaction-based billing.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the business use of SoftPro's entitlements and services billing data across multiple systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure company data is used efficiently and remains accurate and available when fulfilling changes or enhancements.
  • Build and maintain data visibility products that empower business decision making through common tools (SQL, SSRS, Power BI).
  • Employ data migration and transformation tools (SQL, Power Automate, PowerApps Cloud Flows) to manage the flow of data between accounting, invoicing, and customer relationship management platforms.
  • Create and maintain documentation for Technology Operations processes & the knowledge base and for end users of Technology Operations applications.
  • Support Technology Operations end-users, escalate issues to the development team and assist in end-user licensing and provisioning.
