About The Position

The Principal Provider Technology Platform Owner will serve as the strategic and technical lead for Humana's provider technology platforms. The Technology Leadership Principal provides strategic advice and guidance to functional team(s). Highly skilled with broad, advanced technical experience. The Principal will define platform capabilities, drive modernization and integration efforts, and ensure alignment with enterprise goals. The Technology Leadership Principal works with engineering and business teams to define and maintain strategic roadmap for all provider servicing platforms. Lead platform rationalization efforts to reduce complexity and improve scalability. Supports product evaluation and qualification on leading edge technology components. Ensure platforms align with North Star Architecture and business priorities. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver platform modernization. Works with senior executives to develop and drive segment or enterprise-wide functional strategies. Advises one or more areas, programs or functions and provides recommendations to senior executives on matters of significance, and as an advanced subject matter expert competent to work at very high levels in multiple knowledge and functional areas across the enterprise. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare technology, platform ownership, enterprise IT or equivalent
  • Deep understanding of provider lifecycle systems and data management
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required
  • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
