As a Technology Engineer within PNC's SRC organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Phoenix, AZ, Dallas, TX or Denver, CO. Leverages technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions. Assists with selecting appropriate platforms, integrates and configures solutions. Develops software components and hardware for new and emerging technology projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives. May provide consultation on common issues and best practices for junior staff. Provides a systematic analysis on client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered. Ensures quality of project deliverables while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and processes. Requirements

University / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.
Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts.
Support applications using monitoring tools with minimal dependency.
Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectives.
