About The Position

AT&T is seeking motivated recent graduates for our Technology Development Program, a 24 - 36 month project-based rotational experience across four tracks. Participants will work on impactful projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain broad technical skills to accelerate their technology careers. We’re looking for curious, collaborative problem solvers who are excited to use technology, data, automation, AI, and engineering to build practical solutions and continue growing.

Requirements

A four-year or graduate degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) completed before the start date.
Availability to begin full-time employment by July 2027.
Ability to work on-site 5 days per week at the specified office locations.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Java, Python, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Node.js is helpful.
Experience with Python, SQL, machine learning, and data analysis is preferred; familiarity with R, Spark, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, or model evaluation is a plus.
Experience with analytics, dashboards, automation, and strong communication is preferred.
Skills in analytics, programming, automation, communication, and leadership are helpful.

Responsibilities

Build reliable, scalable software that solves real-world problems.
Write clean, maintainable code, test and improve solutions, use AI-assisted development tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Use data science, machine learning, generative AI, and software engineering to solve complex business challenges.
Work with large datasets, build models and data pipelines, explore AI agents and automation, and turn insights into business impact.
Use data, dashboards, automation, systems thinking, and AI tools to improve technical processes and operations.
Partner across teams to connect people, processes, and systems, translate complex information into insights, and create practical solutions.
Help plan, build, and operate advanced wireless and fiber networks, including 5G and fiber solutions.
Use data, automation, AI/ML, and technical problem-solving to improve network performance, optimize operations, and support data-informed decisions.
