About The Position

Qorvo's Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Qorvo offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available. Qorvo’s Technology Development Internships are offered in our Global Operations business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a BS, MS, PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related fields, Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Semiconductor Device Physics and Electrical Engineering coursework and/or experience, including Epi exposure, Device Layout, and On-wafer measurement.
Willingness for “hands on” engineering work in a lab environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

Experience with an electrical engineering tool (i.e. Circuit simulators, circuit layout software, TCAD, VNA/PNA, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.) is preferred.
Experience with ADS/AWR or circuit layout software.

Responsibilities

Learn and conduct development activities for transistor design and fabrication.
Data collection via various lab bench tools.
Data analysis using software such as Data Brix, JMP, Spotfire, or Excel.
Device Characterization and Lab Test measurements.
Experimental design and hands on validation.
One or more projects in areas involving Transistor Layout, Epi characterization, Device characterization, test plan development.
