Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications in IT service management or project execution (e.g., ITIL, PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe).

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end software deployment cycles across environments, from release planning through execution and post-deployment validation.
  • Facilitate dependency mapping, quarterly road mapping, and release planning ceremonies across distributed engineering teams.
  • Represent DevOps engineering in portfolio, steering, and PMO meetings, aligning operational practices with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to align development practices with enterprise architecture and security standards.
  • Build and maintain the centralized release schedule, ensuring engineering teams and business stakeholders stay aligned on deployment timelines.
  • Facilitate release readiness reviews, Change Advisory Board (CAB) alignment, and go/no-go gates to ensure compliance and quality standards are satisfied.
  • Define rollback procedures, contingency plans, and coordinate cross-functional incident response during deployment anomalies.
  • Partner closely with DevOps Infrastructure engineers on CI/CD pipeline health, build automation, and environment readiness.
  • Track, report, and improve key operational metrics, including DORA signals (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Change Failure Rate, and Time to Restore Service).
  • Identify delivery friction, eliminate operational bottlenecks, and champion Developer Experience improvements from commit to production.
  • Translate technical pipeline constraints, infrastructure readiness, and release data into portfolio-level reporting for executive stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
