About The Position

The Technology Consulting Lead is a senior advisor to schools, districts, colleges, universities, public agencies, and nonprofit organizations on the technology they buy, build, and adopt. You will lead engagements spanning infrastructure, systems, data, cloud, Salesforce, AI readiness, technology roadmaps, and vendor-neutral procurement. Just as importantly, you will help clients address the people and organizational changes required for successful adoption. This is also a practice-building role. You will help shape how ATS scopes, delivers, and improves technology engagements while setting the technical and quality standards for the team.

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading technology strategy, consulting, transformation, or advisory engagements.
  • Broad knowledge across infrastructure, systems, data, cloud, and enterprise platforms.
  • Experience advising executive and non-technical stakeholders on complex technology decisions.
  • Strong understanding of technology adoption, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to evaluate technology and vendors objectively and translate technical analysis into practical recommendations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce, applied AI, education technology, public-sector technology, or mission-driven organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technology assessments, strategy, planning, and roadmap engagements across infrastructure, networks, systems, data, and cloud.
  • Advise clients on vendor-neutral procurement, requirements, evaluation criteria, and total cost considerations.
  • Lead Salesforce, AI readiness, and platform advisory engagements.
  • Translate complex technology decisions for executives, boards, and other non-technical stakeholders.
  • Integrate stakeholder engagement, change readiness, communications, training, and adoption into technology engagements.
  • Set technical standards and quality expectations for client work.
  • Review deliverables and coach consultants and analysts.
  • Serve as the technical authority in client and prospect discussions.
  • Partner with the Engagement Principal, who leads client relationships and commercial strategy.
  • Help shape how ATS scopes, prices, and delivers technology consulting engagements.
  • Contribute technical strategy and content to proposals and competitive procurements.
  • Strengthen methodologies, tools, and offerings as the practice grows.
