Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical systems repair, industrial maintenance, or an equivalent role.
  • Understanding and application of predictive maintenance tools.
  • Ability to drive and guide repair of equipment alongside team members.

Nice To Haves

  • An Associate's Degree in a technical related field (e.g., Industrial Maintenance) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Engineering to perform equipment modifications as needed.
  • Generate and refine Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures.
  • Analyze machine failures to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in annual equipment inspections.
  • Monitor parts spending and reliability trends to optimize performance.
  • Apply a laptop to communicate with PLCs, VFDs, Panelviews, and Servos for diagnosing issues.
  • Use diagnostic tools such as drawing packages and multi-meters to resolve electrical issues.
  • Diagnose mechanical wear, alignment, adjustment, and setup issues.
  • Develop standard work procedures for troubleshooting and setups/changeovers.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for maintenance-related guidelines and processes.
  • Procure estimates for tasks and projects and order necessary parts.
  • Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and equipment suppliers for new equipment installations.
  • Work around moving equipment safely and effectively.
  • Learn, understand, and apply rigorous quality standards, SOPs, and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical, or discrepancy issues occur.
  • Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.
