This position involves operating radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) of the body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by a Radiologist. The role requires positioning patients, explaining procedures, operating x-ray equipment, practicing radiation protection, obtaining patient history, and maintaining departmental readiness. The technologist will also be responsible for film quality control and assisting with patient workflow. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility in hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with travel to multiple locations.
